The MISA network includes coil processing and blanking capabilities in key markets. We blank both exposed and unexposed materials to meet your needs. Plus our ability to cut metal coils in the shapes you need allows for greater finished product savings.

Slitting

The process of cutting hot or cold rolled steel for further processing.

Cut-to-length

The process of shearing metal coils to produce precise blanks to customers' size, tolerance and shape. The blanks are usually subsequently used in further processing techniques such as laser welding, blanking, etc.

Shearing

Cutting steel plate to non-standard measurements.

Coil inspection

Examine steel materials as the coils move through the inspection line. This process increases efficiency by allowing machine operators to conduct critical surface tests on both sides of a coil without having to rewind coils twice in order to inspect each side.

Blanking

The process of cutting metal coils in the shape required by customers. The advantage of this process is to allow for greater finished product savings. Our subsidiaries are capable of creating both exposed and unexposed blanks to meet the need of customers.

Tension leveling

The process of correcting critical surface problems by running coils through a leveler before processing.
